Join our Community Worker JoAnne for Tea and Truth, exploring scripture though the wisdom and wit of Jane Austen. These events will take place on Wednesdays 8th, 15th and 22nd July from 19:30.
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that character matters."
Jane Austen's novels are filled with flawed people learning humility, wisdom, love, and hope. Scripture tells the same story: God meets imperfect people with grace and invites them into lives of deeper faith and transformed hearts.
Join us as we explore this further with tea and cake! We will begin on the 8th July with Pride and Prejudice, Humility and Transformation.
These will be relaxed sessions and you do not need to have knowledge of Jane Austen’s works or the bible! You do not need to attend each session!
8th July – Pride and Prejudice
15th July – Sense and Sensibility
22nd July – Emma
